STAYING MOISTURIZED IN COLDER MONTHS

Ensuring that my skin stays moisturized especially in the cooler months is necessary, as I have incredibly dry skin.

With that being said, I have a totally different routine when it comes to Fall/Winter Skincare. I incorporate a ton of hyaluronic products for my facial skincare products, because it does a fabulous job of retaining moisture. I also incorporate more serums and various hydrating creams. I tend to personally steer clear of retinoids as they tend to dry out my skin. One really important change that I will be implementing this year is making my visits to my aesthetician a priority. Earlier this year prior to the pandemic I started visiting Monique for my skincare needs. I definitely saw a drastic improvement in my skin and I look forward to continuing that regimen. If you struggle with dry skin like I do, I highly recommend that you go see a professional to make the appropriate recommendations for your specific skin needs.

Now! When it comes to bodycare that’s a whole different ball game and my go-to products come from Dove. Let me start by saying Dove is Love #bars. From their deodorant to body wash to haircare. They have it all and I’ve quite literally tried it all. So OF COURSE I was beyond thrilled to partner with them to introduce their newest Body Wash line formulated with Moisture Renew Blend technology.

And you guys it doesn’t stop there. There are 14 options with their new Moisture Renew Blend formula. Here is a breakdown of a few of my favorites:

  • Purifying Detox (Green Clay – Deeply Cleanses & Renews)

  • Glowing (Mango Butter & Almond Butter – Moisturizes for Radiant Skin)

  • Renewing (Peony & Rose Oil – Revives for Dewy, Supple Skin)

  • Pampering (Shea Butter & Warm Vanilla – Nourishes and Feeds Skin)

  • Refreshing (Cucumber & Green Tea – Revitalized and Refreshes Skin)

So there is literally something for everyone. I’m very curious to know if any of you have tried any of the new Dove Body Washesand/or if you plan on trying them? Let me know in the comments!
